What you will do:

Help customers choose optimal data strategy and service providers (on-premise and cloud-based).
Design, implement, and maintain customer data solutions.
Analyze existing data assets, implement and maintain data pipelines, and move existing solutions into the cloud.
Participate in discussions with business stakeholders required to understand their needs.

Requirements

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
Knowledge of data modeling techniques (3NF and Star schema, at least), ability to define and build data models including transformations
Experience in at least one object-oriented programming language (Python, Java, Scala, JavaScript)
Practical hands-on experience with Linux command line (or PowerShell/Bash)
Excellent SQL knowledge
Good understanding of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis)
Experience with at least one OLAP engine (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Google BigQuery)
Knowledge of popular ETL/ELT tools (Talend, Pentaho, Informatica)
Knowledge of CI/CD workflows
Ability to document your work in a consistent and understandable way
Familiarity with agile methodology, experience of working in a Scrum team
Skills to set priorities, systematically plan and coordinate activities
Critical thinking, attention to detail
Self-directed, proactive, and able to learn fast
Good written and spoken English, ability to express your thoughts in a clear way

Nice to haves:

Experience with event-streaming processing (using Kafka, for example)
Experience working with containerization-related tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
Certification from one of the cloud services providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
