We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. In cooperation with one of the leading manufacturers of renewables technology, we are developing a scalable and cost-efficient Cloud solution for heat pumps and other HVAC devices. It is a Cloud solution for central device user data management that is interacting with devices and mobile/web apps.

As a specialist in building services using Microsoft Azure infrastructure, you will be a trusted technical authority who the team can turn to for engineering advice and guidance. Solid knowledge of Azure, ability to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions will be the key to success in this role.

What will you do?

Design and develop cutting edge computing infrastructure in a modern cloud environment – Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes (AKS)
Plan and lead Azure infrastructure optimization of current systems and services
Develop version-controlled Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Site reliability engineering
Set up Live log and error monitoring, responsible for the service availability
Monitor toolchain design for developers team

Requirements

What are we looking for?

Significant practical working experience with Microsoft Azure, detailed understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure architecture and management
Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service AKS
Hands-on experience with at least one infrastructure-as-code language
Experience and knowledge of CI/CD design and practice
Ability to come up with practical and innovative solutions and provide guidance on how this can be delivered – all whilst managing performance robustly
Working knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably C# and familiarity with .NET framework)
Excellent communication and cooperation skills
Fluent English
