Automated Test Engineer

We are looking for a great Automated Test Engineer to join our close-knit team of experienced Quality Engineers. You will be working directly with the Electronic Device Production company in Finland, who want to convert their legacy platform to a new environment in National Instruments TestStand. 

Our tech stack: TestStand, LabVIEW, MS Visual C++, MS Visual C#, MS SQL, GIT. 

What you will do: 

  • Migrate current client’s automated tests to use new platform NI TestStand and LabVIEW tools. 
  • Verify that the tests work correctly with client’s hardware. 
  • Verify that the test data is correct in database (Microsoft SQL). 
  • Solution oriented communication with client. 
  • Help with fixing issues in tests and optimizing the automated test tools. 

Requirements

You’ll Excel in This Role If You have: 

  • Previous experience with LabVIEW.  
  • Basic knowledge of automated software testing. 
  • Knowledge about testing terminology. 
  • Interest and understanding of devices and embedded systems.  
  • Excellent cooperation and communication skills (consultative approach when working with client; ability to present, explain, and defend your point of view). 
  • Attention to detail, quick learning ability, and a solution-oriented approach to work. 
  • Good spoken and written English.  
  • Have ambition & drive to learn new things in the ever-changing IT industry. 

Nice to haves: 

  • Some knowledge with TestStand. 
  • Understanding of databases, basic SQL queries. 
  • Industrial or electronical background. 
  • Finnish language.
