Our Business Intelligence & Data Unit is an interdisciplinary team whose passion is BI and whose expertise includes data architecture. They are focused on modern cloud technologies, but their experience includes on-premise Microsoft BI, SAP BusinessObjects and Oracle, Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, DataOps, DataVault and, of course, industry-standard front-end tools like Power BI and Tableau.

We are now in search of an experienced BI Developer to join our team. If you are an expert in managing the entire BI lifecycle and architecting BI solutions, skilled in designing efficient ETL processes and focused on ensuring data quality, performance and scalability, then this opportunity is for you!

What you will be dealing with?

Architecture Design: design and develop the overall architecture of the business intelligence ecosystem (ETL processes, data warehouses, reporting platforms).
ETL and Data Integration: build and optimize ETL processes using Pentaho for complex ETL workflows management. Ensure data quality, integrity and performance.
BI Solution Development: collaborate with stakeholders to gather BI requirements and develop suitable solutions (reports, dashboards, etc.) using tools like Power BI, Tableau or other platforms.
Creation of data models working with Oracle, Postgres, Snowflake.
Performance Tuning: monitor and optimize performance of data pipeline, queries, reporting processes. Improve development and deployment processes, automate ETL tasks (Jenkins).
Documentation and Training: document BI solutions (data models, ETL processes, reporting frameworks) and provide support and training to users in order to ensure effective use of BI tools.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

Proven practical experience (3+ years) as a Data Engineer / BI Developer / ETL Developer with a focus on development and architecting BI solutions.
Expert-level knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing and dimensional modelling. Experience with Pentaho and Jenkins is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience with BI tools, such as Power BI, Tableau or QlikView. Strong SQL and Python skills.
Proficiency in working with Oracle, Postgres, Snowflake and containerization tools (Docker).
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields.

Nice-to-have:

Experience working with AWS cloud platform.
