Sales Engineer (IT Services/Digitalization, Germany)

Proekspert AS is a fast-growing IT company providing tailored, high-impact software solutions for the manufacturing industry and smart device manufacturers across Europe. To strengthen our presence in Germany, we are looking for a driven Sales Engineer with a hunter mindset and a passion for new business development and executing growth strategies.  

Your mission:

You will be responsible for winning new clients in the German manufacturing sector and driving the full sales cycle- from lead generation to closing complex software project deals. With a focus on medium-sized to large industrial companies (typically €50m+ revenue), you’ll help expand the company’s footprint in one of its key markets. 

Requirements

What you bring: 

  • Proven track record in IT consulting or custom software sales specifically in a hunter role. 

  • Solid understanding of software development, embedded systems, IoT, and data-driven solutions. 

  • Ability to understand complex technical challenges and match them to the needs of the customers. 

  • Comfortable working closely with business units to sell and deliver solutions that meet customer needs. 

  • A strong network in established smart device manufacturers, industrial manufacturing, industrial automation, commercial appliances, or related segments. 

  • Experience improving sales cycles and navigating complex B2B sales environments. 

  • Proven track record of onboarding high lifetime value customers. 

  • Ability to identify opportunities in complex procurement environments. 

  • Strong willingness to travel (trade fairs, clients, networking, etc.). 

  • Familiarity with bid compliance, RFPs and RFQs, pricing structures, and contract requirements, and define winning strategies.  

  • Communication & relationship building: ability to build trust with decision-makers. procurement professionals and technical teams. 

  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and take ownership of the German market. 

  • Fluent in German and English. 

  • The role is 100% remote (based in Germany).
